Hypostatic Electricity
03:13
|
|||
Now listen a former tradition that makes me the saddest,
Is that I no longer get to watch, Imogene, Claude,
Ralph, Ollie, Leroy, and Gladys,
That was ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’,
But this song is the baddest…
<Chorus> [Greg Walker]
The saying goes
O come Emanuel
The saying goes
That frosty was a jolly happy soul
The saying goes
That mommy’s kissing santa claus
I guess Christmas time’s an ugly sweater
wrapped up in one ball
Of static electricity
<Verse> [JClazzified]
If there was a true observation of the 12 days of Christmas,
I’d like to pay tribute to Yukon Cornelius,
It’s been foretold in the scrolls-that wisdom is more valuable-than silver and gold,
So recognize that truth as a youth before you become old,
As the 11th day unfolds- let a top hat give birth to a Frosty soul,
And let him lead the snowman away from being so abominable,
Then on the 10th day they can play with Rudolph & Santa’s sleigh,
Say what you mean and mean what you say,
In Bethlehem there was no room at the Inn to stay,
Regardless of the precise day the Savior was born,
His life was a sacrifice so we rejoice instead of mourn,
Thankful for the crown of thorns that was worn,
Gabriel’s presence was adorned on Charlie’s Christmas tree,
And Linus was recitin doper verses than me,
But no matter your beliefs I pray for your family,
That the Ghost of Christmas Past doesn’t singlehandedly,
Destroy the joy of the birth of a special boy,
In a manger cause there’s danger when you don’t show love to ya neighbor,
Scrooge McDuck found it stranger, when he peeped Tiny Tim,
If that little kid is gonna die then why can’t it just be him,
Sometimes when it isn’t summertime the light can be kinda dim,
So hang onto the memories that always seem to make you laugh,
And a ho ho ho,with cookie crumbs in your mustache.
<Second Chorus> [Greg Walker]
The saying goes
You’ll shoot your eye out kid
The saying goes
O little town of Bethlehem
The saying goes
You’re a mean one mister Grinch
Christmas time’s an ugly sweater
Every single inch
Is hypostatic electricity
Emblematic electricity
Cinematic electricity
Mobocratic electricity

On Our Way To Perfect
03:04

[Greg Walker]
The perfect man
Started as a boy
Cried for mommy’s hand
Played with wooden toys
Learned his alphabet
Fell and skinned his knee
Felt the growing pains
Just like you and me
The perfect man
Went to Sunday school
Aced his science test
Sometimes felt the fool
Turned his deep desires
Into goals
And discovered his mind, heart, and soul
We weren’t all born in a dusty manger
But we’ve all made
Good friends out of strangers
We’ve all been happy and confused
Been encouraged and felt used
Taken the cursing and the blessed
And tried our hardest to become our best
The perfect man
Taught truth to the masses
Exampled love
To the lads and lasses
Filled the dark
With enduring light
Showed the noble way to fight
The perfect man
The perfect man
Was a servant- boss
Healed the sick and lame
Carried his own cross
Died for us on Calvary
Showed us all the perfect way to be
We weren’t all born in a dusty manger…
[JClazzified]
Who knew so long ago, this baby boy- would bring so much joy to the globe,
Become a Prince of Peace and release a guiding light for our souls,
Now everybody knows how the story goes,
3 Wisemen showed up with gifts- of myrrh, frankincense, and gold,
Not knowing at the time He’d only live to be 33 years old,
All the while spreadin good news everywhere He would go,
I think His sandals even showed His silly lookin toes,
He’d become friends with 12 bro’s and call them disciples,
During their adventures His word’s were insightful,
They ate fish and broke bread, He even made water into wine instead,
It was only a glimpse of the miracles ahead,
Because on one fateful day He would be resurrected,
Although his best buds fled and denied knowing Him,
He’d reappear for a short time and say all is forgiven,
You see love is the key, not just a Christmas tree,
If we want He’ll even become our pal for free,
Give us sight spiritually, if we’re blind so we can see,
And invite us all to be a part of God’s family.
[Greg Walker]
The perfect man
In every stage of life
From first Christmas day
To the afterlife
Every lesson learned
Every grace we feel
Making God’s love felt
Making his hope real
We weren't all born in a dusty manger...
